Elm Road North is a six bedded residential home for adults, both male & female, with a learning disability. On a day to day basis, residents are encouraged through support and assessed supervision, to carry out daily living tasks.

The aim to is enable residents to develop and maintain independent living skills at their individual ability levels, including cooking, laundry and domestic chores, drawing at all times, on individuals strengths.

Respect and trust are high on our agenda with residents opinions actively sought on the day to day running of the home.

Positive relationships are promoted by regular meetings with residents whereby they are encouraged to voice their opinions.
Community access is encouraged with individuals taking responsibility for the weekly shopping requirements, access to educational facilities and social events.

Policies and procedures are in place to promote the aims and objectives of the home with training of staff both in-house and externally being a continuous process.
