Park Road South is a large detached property overlooking
extensive parkland and situated within walking distance
of Birkenhead’s popular shopping centre. |
With the use of the homes’ vehicle in addition to the excellent
public transport network operating on the Wirral, the many local
attractions, including country parks and seaside towns are easily
accessed.
Liverpool
city centre is only a short train journey away.The home has
been established since 1989 and offers 24-hour residential care
for adults with a learning disability including those whose
needs are more complex. A great deal of experience has been
gained over the years in out of area resettlements, having worked
closely with professionals and clients from Merseyside, Cheshire
and further a field.
Features
of the home include a large communal lounge with a separate
conservatory lounge and designated smoking area (the rest of
the house being non-smoking)
The small rear garden offers patio areas on two levels with
a bar-b-q, lawned and planted areas offering opportunity for
horticultural activities.
An
activities co-ordinator is employed who arranges both in-house
activities and external pursuits in conjunction with our enthusiastic
care staff, including:-
