Accommodation
The
conversion of an existing Grade 2 listed building has resulted
in bed-sitting rooms of various sizes, facilities and views.
Residents are welcome to furnish and decorate their rooms or
alternatively, fully furnished rooms are available. All rooms
are fully carpeted and have call bells, television points and
pay phone sockets. Arrangements can be made to supply Private
telephone lines through BT.
The
Home adheres to all the Health and Safety requirements. For
example, a push-button security lock monitors entrance, all
hot pipes and radiators are enclosed, hot water temperatures
are regulated and the fire alarm system is checked weekly. The
Home is also equipped with the necessary manual handling/bathing
aids.
Meals
may be taken in rooms and visitors are also welcome to dine
with the family. Residents may also provide their own additional
refreshments in their rooms when the necessary risk assessments
show this to be appropriate.
Personal
possessions and money must be insured independently from the
Home's Insurance Policies.
